Virtual Network

Virtual Network nodes create a private network within a cloud infrastructure provider. Resources placed within Virtual Network nodes have limited access to and from services and resources outside of the Virtual Network.

A Virtual Network node creates public and private subnets spread across multiple availability zones to provide security and high-availability. Resources are placed into public or private subnets depending on the type of resource and its properties.
